Few get the chance to build their dream boat and fewer still to do it twice. When the owners of our first "Covey 41" had their second chance, they got it right !

Their previous 36 foot lobsteryacht, also built by Covey Island, was distinguished by crossing the Gulf of Maine at an average speed over 20 knots and by receiving a first place blue ribbon for "Excellent New Powerboat" at the WoodenBoat Show, 1997, Mystic, Ct.

Five years after her launch, the need for more room for friends and a growing family brought them back to Covey. They were pleased with their boat, but needed a larger version.

They used the experience gained with their first yacht to perfect their second vessel's proportions, detailing and systems. The result is now available to the market in limited availability as the "Covey Island 41".
